Our Bannetons/Proving Baskets are made in France from new wool and a biodegradable polypropylene frame.
Use & Care:
This is a new product that do not require sprinkling of flour before placing the dough inside and it drys faster that the compressed wood pulp
After each use, shake out any remaining flour and allow the basket to dry. If there is a built up of flour or dry dough residue over time, allow the basket to dry completely before brushing with preferably a stiff brush of bristle.
Never stack baskets immediately after use. Allow them to dry completely before storing.
This basket can be washed with cold water without softener and can be dried at 100C to recover the shape.
